Carefull Dave,it's gonna dry,get brown, and you won't be able to cut it again, for the rest of the summer...
Then, you will miss all the joys of the summer..

No fool here. I've had the mower at the highest setting all summer long for that very reason..... we've had a really dry start and it's pretty much stayed that way.

NH and VT got hammered by intense thunderstorms yesteray afternoon and night.

These were unusual in that the wall of showers were heading north to south instead of east west as is typical.
As has been the case all summer, they fizzled about the tim ethe got to our house.
I think I could have counted the individual rain drops.
it did cool off a little though.

Finally getting some rain today. I don't remember the lawn being this brown. I was afraid to park the cars on it when we had the driveway sealed last week for fear of setting it on fire with the hot exhaust.

Large portion of the median on the local expressway got torched the other day. I suspect someone tossed a lit cigarette out the window. Hope today's rain helps.
