I'm not sure what city you are referencing but they say a tornado hit the west side of mine on Sat. night. We were an hour south of town and it just rained. Thankfully, we didn't have any evidence of the storms in our neighborhood when we got home. Michigan's had crazy weather. A good friend in the Belleville area had a 10 minute storm on Monday that took down 3 oaks that were probably 150 years old.

Next Thurs the +1 leaves with his team to NH to run a 200-mile relay there. Keeping a close eye on the possible effects of Florence. As for the DC area, this is the last really hot day for awhile - 95. Then storms come in and cool things off back to the 80s for tomorrow, 72 Sat and 70 Sun. Quite a change!

I'm about 10-15 minutes away from you. I'm right near Queens church.

Really! Do you still have your black S2000? It is really rare for me to see one but I did see one with the top up on I-94. I believe it was early Sat. night.

I do, I don't drive it too often though. I rarely see another S around here, usually just a silver AP1 between Jackson and Brooklyn around 127/Jefferson road.

It that time of year when I wonder how long the gap between Shutting off the AC and turning on the heat will be.

We are now at 75 which is the high for today...it stormed a lot more than 45 min last night. More like three hours. It was crazy.

It's about time. This summer has been brutal. We need the rain which is going to bring lower temps and humidity. It has been 90 in my garage when I detailed vehicles. A/C for sure next year. Helluva way to drop weight.
