We voted at 7:00. 1/2 hour wait. Good turnout and lots of young folks which is great.

Well, we vote at least once per year around here. Sometimes more than that. I think we can have up to 4 per year but it usually doesn't go past 2.

I was thinking of Sarah Palin back when she was running for Miss Alaska.

That is not at all what I thought you were thinking. I guess I have no extrasensory perception.

Even more reason to have all the bugs worked out.

Well, I can't argue with that logic.

Just came back from voting. Had to wait in line for the first time EVA! Didn't have to wait long.

Our town has a population of around 10K. There are about 7600 registered voters, typically one in four votes in a local election. Much better turn out tonight! Rick and I were voter #1723 and #1724. That was one machine only. There was another one at our voting place and another at an additional voting place. If they all have 1700+ votes in them, I think that's a pretty good turn out, and there is still an hour to go.

I would like to thank both the McCain and Obama campaigns for not sending me any mailers. I didn't get any calls either.
