My walk is to the woodpile if it's not too blustery. If it is, then the smaller wood pile in the garge gets used.

I've been burning wood in our woodstove continuously for 3 weeks now....

I joke that it's January and I finally have my winter blood in.
Noticed the last couple days that it's gotten warm enough that you really don't need to zip up your coat or even put one on at all.
I was walking between meetings in separate buildings yesterday without my coat and it was beautiful out.
I stopped and just stood in the sun for little while.
It must have been at least 20 degrees so it's not that bad.

I walk to my natural gas fireplace and turn it on.

Our poor friend ran the half-marathon in Orlando last weekend. It was in the 20s. After the race, he couldn't hook up with his family for three hours, due to the huge crowds (24,000 runners). He almost froze to death.

I don't stock that much wood - maybe 2 cords per season. Normally ours is fired up every weekend and any cold evening, but it's been so constantly cold that we've kept it going.

I'd love to have it going all the time, but firewood is expensive here - $250/cord. I've stopped finding and cutting it myself since I turned Vintage!

No!

But then again I don't walk too far when it's warm. I'd rather drive the S.

Most people will never understand that Jerry, Although I do I joke that if it hits 20 its a heat wave.

For the uninitiated you have no idea of the difference between 0 and 20 degrees, trust me after 0, 20 DOES feel like a heatwave especially if it is sunny out.

It was mid-30s today in MI and it was a heat wave. I worked outside most of the day. Should be 37 on Wed, time for cutoffs.
