Hot off the press. Local bank calendar with my piping plover pic on the cover. My $500.00 winner. They also used the photo for January 2025

That's very cool! What a beautiful photo.

Wareham. I'm always still surprised how much it's a small world. You live with 15 minutes of one of my sisters.

Thanks! Which town is she in? I'm actually in Acushnet. The photo was taken in Wareham.

^ I thought you were near or in New Bedford. In any case you have much cooler places to explore than we do. I have to drive 1.5 to 2 hours to find anything new or of interest. Lots of lakes but most are lake locked by side-by-side cottages; some have a small park but it is not the same as beach walking.

I grew up in New Bedford, (historic whaling city) worked in New Bedford,(business related to commercial fishing) and I can easily walk to New Bedford from my house. Our town is a small town 10K people, apple orchards, farms.

Dave, when I've posted pics from our day trips/exploring you have mentioned how fortunate I am to live so close to many things of interest. You are right and I make sure to appreciate it when we are out and about.

We can be in Boston (for first class health care if needed) within an hour, Newport RI or Providence RI in 30-45 minutes, we have oceans/beaches, forts nearby and beaches in RI or on Cape Cod are an hour or less away, and the green mountains of VT and NH in 2-4 hours.

As is my way it seems, I've made it with only minutes to spare, at least in MY time zone anyway. Elsewhere, it's already 2024. So waste no time, go get yourself a 2024 Wall Calendar of S2000s.

The purchase of this is made through Shutterfly, consequently I get no profit from this transaction. I do this out of a love for the S2000. I think this is the last year I will be using Shutterfly for the calendar projects, though (just a heads up).

Now, if you have never dealt with Shutterfly before, it's important to understand that you should never pay full price. Check their "promotions" page for any sales or codes. If there aren't any sales going on, just create an account on Shutterfly, put this calendar in your shopping cart but then don't check out. You'll almost certainly get an email in about 24 hours reminding you to buy, and it might even include a discount code. Or use Groupon to get a promo code for discounted calendars. Search your favorite discount sites for whatever you can find. Because, frankly, $35 for a wall calendar is utterly insane.

To preview the calendar, click the link below. That will launch the cover photo. Click on the cover photo image to preview the entire calendar. Use the left and right arrow buttons to move forward and back through the pages. You do NOT have to create an account to look at it. But you do have to create an account to buy it.

Next year, I promise I will not be so late on this. I started early, but a bunch of things came up which I just didn't really expect to happen when they did. So here we are. BUT, at least we are here, and that's significantly better than the alternative. Be well, be happy, and chase your dreams in 2024!!

I clicked on the link and received an automatic 50% off from Costco! Hair, teeth, guts and eyes came to $26.

I used a Groupon coupon that cost $9.99 which covered the cost of the calendar. With $7.99 shipping my copy cost me $17.98.
