Here's a quote from Site Info I read this morning, in a thread talking about whether S2Ki has become dull:

"I think all the interesting stuff is in the old people forum (Vintage)."

Pretty cool, huh???!!! I told him to come on over and participate - nicely, of course.

What? We're old? Must be a relational thing as in related to who or what age. That's why I like hanging out with my 103-yr-old grandmother, makes me feel so relatively young, even calls me a baby. Old people indeed!

I discovered yesterday that I don't even like to be referred to as Middle Aged That may be what I am, but by golly, I don't have to like it (or act it or feel it).

My mother is 82 and is just now accepting the fact that she is "middle age"

Yet, she was right up there in requesting senior citizen discounts wherever they are offered!

Went to see my 94 yr old grandmother yesterday -- made me feel very young, however, I don't think I'll be visiting the "street encounters" forum, I'd rather just have the encounters and not post about them. No, I've never met an "old" person at any of the Vintage meets and I've never met a young s2ker who made me feel old.

Wait...

This is the "old people" forum???

I didn't get that memo.

Or, perhaps it was written in gangsta and I just didn't understand it.

There's no question; we definitely keep it interesting in here. I mean really... Look at the cast of characters!!!

I think that whoever wrote that is absolutely right. All of the interesting stuff is here in Vintage.

Maybe getting mentioned in the other forums is a good thing...it seems like there hasn't been any new people getting the Vintage Badge lately. I wonder if they just don't find our forum or don't join because they don't feel like admitting they are vintage too.
