I'm sure Bill Medley would be pleased to tell you he is alive. It was Bobby Hatfield who died!

Sorry, it was very early and I wasn't thinking. I'm going to edit my post. Thanks.

Sorry ... I've never used the CD player. High quality stereo is on my personal back burner ... probably too many years around loud aircraft engines. But my stock radio is permently tuned to KHYI/95.3/ The Range. Nothing but kick ass Texas country and western, along with some oldies ... no Nash Vegas porn. Well, there's some blues in the PM ... oh, and there's Dixieland on Sunday nights and Friday nights with some lesser known locals are especially swell. But never never never any DC's. Sorry, I know they're quality musicians, the stations line has been drawn. And I agree. Check'em out... they're on the web.

The wife and I are really getting into trance. It's fast-paced electronic dance music with the cuts blending into each other. Paul Oakenfold is probably the best-known trance DJ in the world and he's a good place to start your explorations.

It's a perfect soundtrack for fast-paced weekend drives!

Depends on my mood but I keep my gospel CDs at the ready along with my classical piano, classic jazz, contemporary smooth jazz, CDs. Steely Dan gets played a lot. However, when I want to open her up, Jean Paul's thumping reggae beat get me into ticket territory real fast. Who was it who said there's only one kind of music; good music? I can hang out just about anywhere on the musical spectrum depending on my mood.

It's just such a gas to pull up next to some guy in a beat up dodge caravan with 5 kids and handprints all over the window so bad that he can barely see out, nice sunny day , top down and music up loud, when he glances over, I just KNOW what he's thinking!!
