I hope so. The car had a CEL on the way home from the Dragon plus I think I threw a wheel weight. The tires are out for balancing and I reset the code and will see if it comes back as soon as I can drive it.

We have our first cars n' coffee of the season Sat. morning so I'm looking forward to that. If it doesn't rain and I have enough energy left after work I'm hoping to get a coat of wax on the S today.

The weekend is here! Well, the weekend is here, over here. Doing a quick bit of early morning overtime (01:00am right now), then I'll catch some sleep before heading to the local auctions to pick up some items my wife won on Thursday, then back home to put a bit more trim on the tractor shed before filling the ballast box with concrete so we finally have a counterweight for the front end loader.

Rain expected on Sunday so I might spend the day under the house putting in more insulation. Undecided.

Did you learn anything on the CEL? What's your mileage on your S? That's an issue I always fear with road trips. CEL lights, breaking down...etc. Especially as the car racks up the mileage.

Every day is a Saturday, here...In honor of the weekend, after my Y class we headed to the Cape Cod Canal where we started the weekend early and got a nice 5 mile walk in. Tired feet now. We had a very late lunch/ early dinner. Had a gift card to use for Chili's. Not my favorite place, but I was given the card along with some $ for a pic I sold. I did enjoy the fajitas anyway.

Tomorrow back to the Y, taking my grandson for his Covid vaccine, maybe a couple errands. Rick is hoping to get some mulch down in the yard. No other real plans as of now. Headed to ME on Monday for an overnight and dinner with friends.

Everything is OK. The codes were related to pulling the battery to help someone else with electrical problems at the Dragon. Had me worried but all is well!

It looks like my son and I will start on the replacing he clutch of the car he uses tomorrow.
I say start because I expect it to take a while. He's doing it, I'm consulting.
He's never really done anything that mechanical so this will be jumping into the depend to learn to swim.

What kind of car? Clutch jobs can vary in the degree of how much of a P.I.T.A. it is to do.

Mazda5 so transverse engine, pull the motor and gear box.
Will have a to rent an engine hoist. I just don't feel like dropping $1500 in labor.
Figure maybe he'll learn something.
