Decided to try a different place for lunch. On the River in Taunton River her in MA. Nice update of the building. I had some soup and mushrooms wirh seafood stuffing. Rich had fish tacos. I also had an apple pie sangria which really hit me. Needed a nap when we got home. I’m a lightweight when it comes to drinking.

Oh my Ray. Glad to hear you're doing OK and hopefully it stays that way.

I've got another tournament today. The last one I finished Top 12 (double elimination mixes up the traditional 3/4, 5-8, 9-16 finishes, into 1, 2, 3, 4, 5/6, 7/8 9-12, 13-16). Ultimately lost to the people who finished 2nd and 4th overall.

Today is single elimination. The bracket is posted and I'm expecting a Top 8 at the worst out of 52 entries. There's a small variation in the game today so we'll see more upsets than usual, but I'm pretty confident against my group. My first expected challenge would be at the match to move into the Top 4.

Headed over to my sister's in a bit to wrap some Christmas presents for her. She's had more set backs with infection and the healing of the bone of her broken leg, issues with the IV antibiotics, etc. Tests to determine where she is in the healing process then will decide what's next. They want to remove the hardware, but can't if the bone hasn't healed. What a mess she has been dealing with from missing a step into the basement.

Lainey, sorry to hear of you sister's issues. Infection in the area of broken bones is serious stuff. All the best.
