What are you doing this weekend?
I stayed home with the boys this weekend while +1 participated in a 60 km (37 mile) "Walk to End Breast Cancer" over Saturday and Sunday. The 1,100 participants raised $2.1 million for breast cancer research.
I'll be meeting up with +1 this afternoon to greet her at the finish line!
Laundry, groceries, house cleaning are all done and dinner is ready for when we get home this evening.

Nice going by the +1 Dr. J. and
Yesterday was the Race for the Cure here in DC. Billed as the largest 5K in the country (world?), at least when I participated (about 52,000 peeps then). I ran it several times - there is also a walking group. A worthy cause.
Pool's open and temp is 82 degrees (OK this process began last weekend). Quite comfortable. The water's still a little cloudy from the soda ash I had to add to get the pH back in range. Chaz?
The front beds have been tilled and mulched in anticipation of setting out this year's sacrifices.
It's been really dry here.
The tomato plants are in the ground and getting watered twice daily. The soil may need a little lime though.
That's about it. Whew!

I had to ante up $11.99 here at the Grand Sierra Hotel in Reno, Nevada for the DSL connection.
I think we had about 30 cars drive from Elk Grove (Sacramento, Calif) to Reno, Nevada. Almost exactly 200 miles. Gorgeous top down weather the entire way. I really got my seat belt tan line down now. Had on my bathingsuit top again to tan my shoulders but that darn seat belt ruins it.

.Oh. Maybe it's more than just talk! I had some wine. Traveler (Brian) brought some European wines, and I had some of the red and some of the white. Naughty Patricia. I have to shower and get this sticky sunscreen off of me.
