Whatever became of......?
One pharmacy in my little home town featured a Mexican sundae. (Not to be confused with a New Mexican sundae.) Vanilla ice cream served in a tall sundae glass, topped with peanuts and chocolate syrup and garnished with two strawberry wafer cookies. 25 cents and worth every penny.
Seneca Farms, for my money the best ice cream shop around, served a banana split with four large scoops of ice cream, flavors of your choice, topped with four different syrups, crushed peanuts, whipped cream and a cherry. It was served in a cardboard pig trough and if you finished it you got a pin that said "I was a pig at Seneca Farms.".

I know Gowanda. I worked for a summer at camp Ta-Wa-Ya-Ee (BSA) over near Holland on Rt 16. The camp was sold back in the 80s when the Buffalo Area Council merged with the Niagara Frontier Council.
A slight change up. Christmas songs. Good? Bad? Repugnant? Favorite TOTALLY WORST SONG EVER! ones? Thank you Washington Post and Alexandra Petri.
