Hello All,

Hope you can help me... i have just picked up my S2000 ( Second Hand, has done 54k ) and over the last few days i have noticed the following things, which im not really sure are normal or signs of something broken...

1. 3rd Gear, seems to make an overly mechanical noise when i push it in... all the other gears sound great and just make a satisfying click, however 3rd sounds a bit dodge! strangely though, it does go into that gear and every other gear fine, and once in gear all is normal... any ideas?? it doesnt seem to be affecting the car.

2. The driving along, ( and this is only really noticeable in the lower gears.. the higher up the gears you are the less you can feel it ) if i take my foot off the gas so the car is just rolling, and rest my foot on the clutch pedal, i can feel really stong vibrations, if i re-apply throttle the vibrations go away... the clutch its self all works spot on.. but this vibration is worrying me.. especially as at the same time i get a loud mechanical knocking noise coming from the rear of the car like a exhaust heat shield is loose... but it only does when im OFF THROTTLE and rolling... if i stand still and rev it, its fine.

any ideas would be AMAZING!!! thank you all so much!

Sounds like you bought an s2000, not a lexus.
