I paid $685 for a genuine Honda S2000 windshield back in '01. Well, the insurance company did. So I still beat you.

Jersey - everything costs more. Ask me about my real estate taxes! Cheapest I found a Honda windshield on-line was $309 before shipping. Then installation. It made the $250 seem reasonable. If I weren't due for inspection, and the crack wasn't spreading so fast, I'd have considered the drive to Houston.

I have had mixed results from multiple repair companies on multiple vehicles.

Overall, I am not a fan of the repairs. Any weak spot in the windshield offers an opportunity for a crack/split/shatter with extreme temperatures at the worst possible time.

^I decided this chip was a little to big for repair.
