Watching the Oscars tonight? What are your thoughts?

I just watched Lauren Becall introduce a montage of black and white films. I felt badly for her, she did not do a very good job reading the monitor. She was such a great actress. Some things about getting old really suck.

Lauren Becall was one of my favorites too. You are right, some things about getting old aren't so nice.

Who's going to win? Probably "Brokeback Mountain" and Reese, but I kind of wish that Judi Dench and "Good night and good luck" would win. Why? Just because.

No, just a little clip. We meant to see it, but by the time we got out it disappeared. Now we're waiting for the dvd.

I couldn't care less about the Oscars (my mother had an uncle named Oscar; Mr Meyer who owner the weinermobile was an Oscar), but Val and I are glad that the March of the Penguins was a winner

I cared about the Oscar's last year, but not this year.

BTW, Look for the sequel to Brokeback Mountain in 2008. It's called Cornhole Canyon.

Strange but year after year I end up watching some if not all of this OSCAR hype. I have absolutely no idea why. Generally I have not seen any of the movies. On the other hand based on feedback I somehow know which ones I like. Or at least which ones I am sure I would not like. Must the dresses.
