I'm really glad I haven't put my MG into storage. Spent the afternoon top-down. Plans are for the wife and I to head out of town and do the same tomorrow. Like Rob, we both love cool weather top down driving.

Rob, I'm sure you know that driving a classic envolves a commitment to problem solving and networking. For example, I repaired a leaking freeze plug Saturday using an expandable metal plug that works on the same principal as a boat drain plug. The tip on what to use and how came from an eight time SCCA national champion. Hope to see you at a future MG meet.

I hope I get it. According to my colleague I probably will. This weekend I'm going to polish my Whitworth spanners.

--------------------------

I owned a TD and a "B". I remember those days very well. I usually spent my weekday night's in the garage after I got home from the office, so I could drive them on the weekend. I owe MG for making me a fair shade tree mechanic.

Here's a question that I don't think was addressed. I have an OEM hardtop on the car now. Would it be better to take it off and put the softtop back up (unlatched) or just leave the hardtop on? If I leave the HT on, should I also unlatch it AND undo the rear catchers?

What brand of trickle charger does everyone use?
Been using this one for years:

Battery-Tender

If you shop the on-line motorcycle retailers, you can usually find it for about $40.

Looks like it got chopped off somehow. ???? At this time of the year, you just need to remember to reinstate full insurance coverage when you take it out of storage.

I noticed this, too. All other posts referencing this list has disappeared as well. Can someone re-post this? I'll be storing my car for the first time at the end of this month. Thanks
