i know they had fixed mounts in the nose of those B25s used for staffing airfields


From the films I have watched, they did a bang up job on those Japanese bases and ships.

This must have been the configuration with that many guns listed.

That B-25 model had a "solid" nose, with four .50 Browning M2's in the nose, and two more mounted on each side with the top turret poniting forward for a total of ten guns that could be fired at the same time, yikes that a lot of lead going down range, They sank light shippping, shot up, bunkers, tanks anything of value. The 5th airforce used them in the pacific theater, with great effect. Thanks, for the links Jet.
