I think it's time for my semi annual martini. Our friend throws a fun Super Bowl Party. Even more fun when the home team is playing.

The problem with the Pats is there games are always boring, never exciting ending or anything like that. ( insert John Dean Iowa scream here)
That was quite a game. Pats did a tremendous job controlling the ball in the first half rather than just getting in a shootout.
The KC defense was just plain out of gas on the overtime drive.

Practice like you play, play like you practice.
I will say this Mahomes kid might have a future.

I love it. I called my mom back in MA to celebrate. She's 100 years old and stayed up for the game.

If you're in the cardiac business it was probably a good business generator.

Two great games. Clearly some bad calls and/or lack of calls but its a game played by and ref'd by humans. I would have enjoyed seeing KC get a chance in OT. Two excellent QB's, that's for sure.

When I turned on the first game an old dude was singing the national anthem - what was the story behind that?

From KC: Remember that time the Chiefs lost in the playoffs because a guy lined up offsides, and they lost the dang coin flip?

That old dude was Jimmy Buffett. He is in New Orleans for the music festival. That one interference bad call cost the Saints the game. Calls like this should be reviewed. That was one stupid human making that one.
