Your first date.
When I saw the other First Date thread, I thought this was what it was about, and since it wasn't, I'm making one that is.
So, do you remember your first date? What happened? What was it like? Where'd you go? How'd it turn out?

I wasn't very popular in high school and I don't really remember dating. I remember hanging out and going to parties but that's about all.
I think I started dating in college, but even then, it was with girls that I already knew. I hated the idea of blind dates and didn't go on any.
That said, I can't really remember my first date.

Well, I certainly remember my first date with the current +1, since it was only eight months ago. We went to play pool. My first date with the first +1 was a walk around the Tidal Basin in DC, after meeting him a couple of nights before at my sister's wedding reception.

First date ever? I remember it in detail. I was 12 my brother was going out her sister and they thought it would be "cute" to get us together. We went to a movie "Fast Times at Ridgemont High", held hands and a peck at the end of the night....very cool.

My first real date was a double-date to see Yes in concert at the Forum. I was about 15, introverted, shy, and uncomfortable. It went no where.
At 16, my next date was with Andy, who I married ten years later. We went to a drive-in. Neither one of us remember what we saw. I just remember him kissing me and getting my face all wet like a puppy dog. His lips are bigger than mine.

Prancer. HAHA...when we met that night, we both got pretty drunk. I lost a contact out of one eye and didn't even know it. My brother drove us to a 7-Eleven for coffee and to this day, neither one of us remembers where it was. I was feeling so sick in church the next day (Easter Sunday), I had to go sit in my parents' car.

Interesting question. I don't recall my first ever date, but I do remember what a comedy of errors that led up to my wife and I hooking up. Something like.... I was with a drinking buddy at our favorite watering hole.... another (soon to be former friend) arrived with Fran on a "bowling bet" date/payoff. She chatted with the other two all night and I wandered off.
One week later, my friend doesn't show up, but Fran and a few of her girl friends are there and since I've been "stood up" she invites me to join them. We exchanged numbers that evening and I called her a week later..... got the "I've got to study" excuse (later found out it was true) but I had already dumped her number......She calls me a week later but my brother never gives me the message!
A week alter she shows up at a basketball game I'm playing in (the soon to be former friend is on my team). After the game, we talked all night, I took her home and we met for lunch the next day. Been together ever since, but there was no real 'first date' Funny how fate is sometimes.
