Yes, she's only 1 and 1/2 months old. Here are two of the photos my sister took and then photoshopped.

As far as the implant timing, I go back in 3 months for my implant consultation, and work up phase. Then the implant surgery, and then 3 months after that will be the torque test. I'm just copying what I have in an email. I think that means I get the whole deal minus the "tooth" that my dentist will make, at about 6 months out. Photos are working now so here are my selfies that made me laugh the day I had #31 tooth removed.

^2-14-2019. Comfortably numb and quite out of it.

^2-14-2019. Right side is numb.

^2-14-2019. I woke up and felt something on my lips.

^2-14-2019. What have I been doing when I thought I was asleep?

^2-14-2019. That's better. PJs all day, for sure.

I'm very happy that I had it done. They didn't cost me anything as insurance picked up the tab. I think everyone's situation is different. Just be sure you go to real specialist is the best advice I can share.
That must have really hurt, Dave! Did you teeth get knocked out or what?

I'm wondering if my right sinus issues will be better with this right root rot cleaned up. My brother broke my nose when I was 16 and that supposedly has something to do with it. I'll see.

Some of the posts in the thread make me cringe. Tooth implants do not sound like a day at the beach, and aren't easy on the wallet! Patricia, you are brave with your selfies....

Yeah, I am getting comfortable with my old self. I do clean up well, though. At a our last family get together a couple of times I asked AK a question and he'd start to answer and look at me and then he'd shift his eyes to our son as he kept answering. I just figured I was to good looking for him to bear. I ain't getting any better at this age. I'll GO with the flow. ElliptiGO, that is.

Being comfortable with oneself in spite of wrinkles, age spots and dealing with gravity, shows how strong we are.

I love having more of a, "this is what I am" attitude. I am able to laugh at myself now days instead of putting myself down for being too fat, or whatever else I come up with. I live alone and I know me inside and out. I'm good with who I am. I'm excited to see how you take to retirement.

I know I will need to be busy. I don't sit well during the day. Whether it's a trip out to my favorite spots for a stroll, camera in hand, or heading back to the Y for a late afternoon class, I gotta keep moving. The clock is ticking.

There is a billboard sign just north of our town that says Implants $675.

Well, my experience has been the same as Jim's. Right now I'm looking at over $10K for the 3 I have. I would be very wary of a "bargain" implant!
