Default 303

i just picked up some 303 protectant from a local boat shop and i put it on my 04 top. the top already looked great but now it just looks better and kind of shiny. i really like it.
just wanted to know how often i should apply this stuff? i park right next to my roomates 2000 MR2 sypyder and from our balcony you can really tell the difference in the shades of the top and i know i dont want mine looking like his. so how often should i apply this? keep in mind that my car sits out in an unshaded apartment parking lot. thanks!!

I'd say once per month should cover it. I do mine once every 4-6mos., but my top rarely sees the sunlight.

agree with sam...

if its shiny, you should make sure you have buffed it out really good. if you have excess and it rains, you might have 303 on the painted part- not the best place for it!

the first time I applied the 303 protection - it seemed a bit blotchy until I wet wiped it again...are the good application/buffing out instructions? my package and bottle don't seem to have it?

thanks

soak a rag with the 303 after washing the top and drying it.

apply the 303 over the entire top (keeping lotsa product on it- reapply by spraying the rag away from the car- dont spray the top). let it sit for awhile. i do other parts of the car then come back. then rub it in really well with another rag. often i then use a second buffing- the product should not really show on the top (i do like a little shine on my interior, but that means that there is extra product on the vinyl- and you dont want that on the top).
hope that helps!

I use it every few months also and I love it. It's takes a little practice to get the right technique down, wanabe's method is best. You just need to keep enough in stock.
