Default 3M Compound and Polish

Getting hold of the 3M polishes in the UK is a bit of a task. I came across a distributor who stocked two of the professional ranges, so I couldn't let the opportunity pass and bought one of each.

I haven't tried them on the S but I tested the compound on the beater - the results were astounding albeit I didn't like the noise the compounding was making. The compound is very gritty therefore must be very aggressive.

On the other hand the Finesse-It is very smooth and also creates a great shine and eliminates scratches and swirls.

Anyone have any advive or experiences of using these products?

Thanks Wanabe

I'm just a little worried about the fast cut compound being too aggressive. I may just use the finesse-it for the whole car and the compound for spot polishing.

that should work...
you might want to go back over the areas that you fine cut afterwards with the light polish (finesse) to get the shine back-

i use 3m products on my s2k and my altima se-r, i had water spots all over the altima (witch is blk on blk) and the 3m polish took the rain spots and the remaining dirt that i had missed completely off the car with a stunning shine 3m for my cars!
