I used a cordless for the job and only used 1 full battery pack plus a couple minutes with a new pack. But my batteries are old so I'm sure you could do it with one pack easy if they're newer.

Should work. You may just need to spend a little extra time with it.

Ok cool thanks, im going to take along time anyway. I have pretty bad scratches and oxidation on my lenses, far worse then what you had, but i still think this kit will work perfect. Just picked it up for 17.99 it was on sale.

IMO, for $17, this kit seems like a no-brainer....especially if you don't have a PC.

If you get Plastix and sand paper, that is all you have. You'll need a lot of elbow grease to get the results your looking for.

The 3m kit allows you to get very good results with a lot less hassle.
I was just replying to Slanguage.

I use this system in combination with a softer black waffle 3" pad to finish as the orange pad is a bit aggressive on its own and can still leave swirls. This system also works great to do small scratches on paint.
