Default Another windshield question. I know, Don't hate me

So, recently we've been getting alot of rain, and I noticed my wipers started streaking more and more, even though they're only like two months old, and Good Quality (Rain-X Weatherblades or something)... So, today after I drove home in the rain, I brought the car inside the garage, and dried the windshield, wiped the wipers dry, to see if anything was stuck on them, or if they were dirty, and I decided I would try and strip the old Rain-X off the windshield, so I got some Denatured Alcohol, and put it on a MF applicator, and started wiping down my windshield, and I noticed there is a path directly where my windshield wipers swipe, and No matter what I tried to use to remove it, it wouldn't disappear... I used Denatured Alcohol, Stoners, and Rubbing Alcohol (Took of some old polish that had splattered on my plastic though... ), but the streaks prevailed...

Anyone have any other ideas? I'm considering polishing with 106FF maybe?

first try a glass polish...
zaino makes one and there are several other choices. i use the pc with glass polishes and start out with mild cut pads, then move up a bit if i need to.
more info on z12:

106ff would be a choice, but i would go glass polish first- but thats just me...

I bought some Einszett glas polish and, so far, I'm not real impressed. I followed the directions - it said to apply it with a cloth - and it did nothing. Maybe it's best used with a machine?

1Z GlasPolish isn't made to remove heavy scratches in glass. I find it best for a deep cleaning and taking off hard water stains. It does clean very well, but to the untrained eye, htey won't notice it.

I applied mine with a foam applicator pad, and used a "little" elbow grease, let haze, then buff off with a MF towel.

Jaeden, try the above, and invest in some P21S windshield wash booster. cleans great, and cuts down wiper chatter as well.
