applying megular's tire glaze
I picked a bottle up from the parts store here in town and looked for the foam applicator many describe and couldn't really find anything that matched the descriptions given.
I ended up buying wax applicator rounds that are cotton over a standard round sponge about 3 in. in diameter.
Next clear warm day, I'm gonna give the car a bath and shine.
What do you guys use.

may I make a recommendation:
if using the gel, then do as the others say and get a foam applicator. Look around at your local auto zone and you can find one.
if you use the liquid products that normall come in spray bottles, like Back to Black, do the following:
get a small bucket and use it ONLY for this product.
Poor some of the luquid into the bucket
take an inexpensive house paint brush (for oil based paints), get a small size one from the Home Depot for like $1.99 (something that will fit on your sidewall just perfect).
Dip the brush in the liquid and 'paint' it on your tire.
No overspray, and perfect application.
Keep the brush in the bucket when done.

I would imagine your cotton wax/polish pad will work equally as well as the foam applicators. In all honestly, all you're doing is smearing it on with minimal excess. Just keep wiping and let the pad soak up what you don't want.
