Default AUTOSOL(from Germany)

My son gave me this product. Has anyone on this board used this product and can
report on the results? I'm being cautious here as the bottle states that staining can
result if excess is not carefully removed.

TIA, Cal

wow, stumped the wanabe!
have never heard of it- are you sure its a vinyl product?
not sure that i would use anything that can stain-
my products of choice for the top would be raggtopp, 303 or vinylex-
i know that those all do a great job!

Before you apply anything to your top, make sure that the product was designed to be used on vinyl tops. It sounds like your product was NOT made for a vinyl top, since it came from Germany.

Yeah, it does say "for all types of fabrics." I suppose the best thing to do would be to
"test" it on some inconspicuous spot on the inside of the top.

I've got some Autosol metal polish and it works GREAT (you can polish a rough header to a high shine - amazing stuff), but yeah... I'd stick to a specific vinyl product for the top.
