Hey guys, haven't posted here in a while so I decided to start up a new thread with some before and after shots of a Berlina Ap1 that myself and a fellow member (bwheels02) restored.

We started the car at around 8 and finished at around 4.

Optimum Polish 2
3D products ultimate compound
Collinite detergent proof wax

Before:

During

Final wipe down and afters:

C&C always welcome!

Actually, the current owner is pretty good with caring for the car, however, the previous owner wasn't.

The paint was in pretty nasty shape.

nice turn around! from dull and boring to wet-looking attention getter, and its always nice to have help when working on a car. just having someone to talk to makes it that much better.

3D products are just OK. Not amazing, yet at the same time not bad.

The polish requires a learning curve...

It's extremely similar to 3M polishes but with a little more cut and it breaks down much quicker. The only reason that I use it is because it's pretty affordable and is readily available as one of their stores is a few miles down from my office.

Thanks for the kind words guys

I agree! Having 2 people is better in many ways. I felt good afterward knowing that another s2000 enthusiast was pleased with the work we did. Looks as I like to say FRESH.
