I am eventually getting my entire hood covered with the 3M Clear Nose Guard stuff. But for a start, you may try the front section of the hood , bumper with the 3M Clear Nose Guard ?

my solution... give lots of room to big vehicles in front of you (big rigs and suvs especially!) with our car this works- if you need to pass, you still have plenty of ability to pass from farther back-
after 3.5 years, i am still lucky to have almost none.

existing damage without pics is difficult.

I, like wanabe would start conservatively.

so on that note, see if "detailing" the stone chip marks will work. Go to your nearest detail shop and see if they can remove stone chip marks, scratches, and of course swirl marks all together. I personally did not think I'd be able to "detail" some bad scratches out of my dad's car, but I was able to using my PC when others said, re-painting was needed.

If they are severe and down to the metal, then "detailing" is out, and "bodshop" w repaint is needed.

After it gets all done, then apply the 3M Clear Nose Bra..

Yea that bra will be on for sure. I guess im going to consider detail shops. Thanks i never thought of that. I thought i would need to get a repaint. By no means is it down to the metal. Thanks. I'll take some pics, pending what the detail shop tells me.

if you're not down to the metal, then you're doing just fine and more likely the detail shop should be able to rid them, if they claim they can't move on to the next one
