Default Two scratches in clear coat ! help

Ok... I should have sorted this out ages ago, but I have two distinct scratches on the front bonnet (hood) of my car.. and i dont know how they got there !!

It could have been a stone, but its they are in the shape of a letter C and number 7 ?? I have thought that it might have been deliberate, but Im hoping not... maybe a cats claw made it or something as its quite high up on the bonnet and a person would have to reach right over to make it.
Also there are a few tiny marks in the clear coating by the rear radio mast/antenna.

Anyhow, as its just in the clear coat and not very deep, Is there a way of getting this out.?. HELP! ARGH !

Do you have any of these scratch remover products in the UK? I've used GT88, GS27. They seem to work quite well on superficial scratches. They're quite common in N.A. Otherwise, try a polishing compound on them and then re-shine the area.

I had a light scratch on the rear quarter.
Careful and light polishing with T-Cut removed it very nicely, followed by polishing with Auto Glym polish.

You would never know it was there.

Good luck,

AnDy.

3M Scratch and Swirl Remover (part # 39009) is the best scratch remover ever.
