good question - my guess (i have screens) would be to use a very SOFT brush or a hard stream of water from the hose..

I don't see why you couldn't take the same approach as you would for the paint - use the Pro Honda cleaner spray combined, as Bass said, with a nylon bristled brush, agitate to remove, final wipe with a terry towel, then hose it.

What I did on my wife's car just this past weekend was let the car cool completely, then gently wet the radiator with the hose. After letting the water sit a sec, I completely sprayed down all the bugs with some simple green and let it soak for about 10 minutes. Last I used the hose full blast to hose down the radiator, just make sure to spray nearly vertically parallel with the radiator so you don't force the bugs further into the radiator. This seemed to work pretty well, and got about 99% of the bugs & garbage out of the fins.

Hope it works for you,

Ryan P.

Reviving a year-old thread ...

Any new thoughts on this? Mike, what did you end up doing? Anyone try SJP0tato's Simple Green method?

Thanks.
