I took my s2k to one of those half human/half machine car washes. Everything came out just fine, no water leaks, no funny marks, etc. Obviously not quite as clean as a hand wash, but still very acceptable.

However they couldnt figure out how to start it, when it got off the machine part which was kinda funny.

I just wanted to post this because it seems like everyone here says its evil and wrecks the car to use a car wash like this, but really it worked fine.

I think the problem isn't always immediate... it's those fine scratches... did you go use a machine that's got *not* touchless? Those things can trap dirt and scratch the car... you might not see it now, but it can be there...

The only machine that I will take the car to is the ones that only spray the soap and water on the car but have no brushes or the like that touch the car and they have people with towels dry the car.
