Sorry if this is in the wrong forum. I did not know where to put it and this seemed to be the best place. Well I had my fenders rolled and slightly pulled and now I noticed some surface rust on the inside of the fender. There are a few spots that the paint was chipped. I need help in stoping the rust. I do have touch up paint and thought about applying that but am worried that the paint wont stop the rust just cover it. Any suggestions on how to prep this? Any help would be great.

you are right- you need to prep...
get rid of the rust with sanding (steel wool actually) or naval jelly.
