I used the clay bar, works great! Takes forever though. It made the paint as smooth as glass.

One thing about the clar bar process it to remember to use A LOT of lube. Does a better job that way, and is quicker and easier too.

Griot's Garage sells a 6" foam pad with a clay bar pocket in the middle that really helps if you are doing the whole car. The foam that surrounds the clay in the pocket helps spread out and control the lube. It is a hook and loop attachment so it should fit most PCs.
