Default Cleaing up oily engine bay

What would you guys recommend for cleaning up the bottom of my engine bay. My SC was leaking oil that mixed with dirt so now its a big oily crusty mess. I would like to use something that I can use in my garage and doesn't have fumes that will kill me. Car is up on jack stands right now, so I can't move it outside and would like to clean it up before I put it all back together.

good question... i wouldnt know how to do this without plenty of rinsing. pretty hard to do inside a garage!!

i think you have to put it back together to move it outside to do this, but will see if anyone has a no water solution --

how about simple green automotive in a spray bottle after wiping up the majority of the oily/dirty mess off the engine bay? costco has this oil eater stuff that works wonders on grease and oil too.
