Default clean top now or wait until spring?

Hello,

I just picked up a used MY04. It's now stored in my garage for the winter, I did a quick was and wax. I've now noticed that there are a few small bird dropping stains on the back of the soft top. I don't want to wash the car again because my garage is not heated. Do you think the stains will come out if I wait until the spring the clean them?

I'm thinking of using Raggtopp.

I would clean the top with a damp rag or a little soap and water.
Let it dry, then put some protectant on it.

agree with ubetit...
the droppings contain acid and can cause further damage if they sit for a long time

If I use the Raggtopp cleaner do I need to wash it off with water afterwards or can I just 'spot' clean it with a damp rag? I really want to avoid getting the car wet because it is very very cold in my garage.

you can do a "minimal wash" if the top isnt really too dirty...
just use a damp cloth- first wet the top (with the damp cloth). if the cloth isnt too dirty after wiping down the top, you can proceed with your raggtopp. if the rag is really dirty, then you might have to wash the top several times if you dont want to rinse it off. i would not just wash one part of the top and not the rest-

ok, the top is clean already because I washed it when I picked up the car. It hasn't left my garage since. I'm really only wanting to treat the stains, it looks like they have been on there for a while from the previous owner.
