Post How often do you wash your top?

Hello everyone,
How often do you apply 303 protectant onto the soft top?
Do you usually clean it off everytime you wash your car?
And how long does it take you to wipe to completely dry?

1. A couple times a month for me.
2. no
3. I spray an applicator pad and put it on very wet. Take an Mf towel after a few minutes and just run it over the top to get it even.

Yesterday was my very first time doing it and it took me almost 2 and a half hours wiping to completely dry. It was beautiful afterwards but pain in the neck.

imo, it really depends on how you use your top. i use mine to keep the boot company!
the only time that my top is up is some times when i wash the car i put it up.
i recognize that this is an extreme- in my case, the top gets washed and protected about once a year or so.

if the top is used more "normally", as a roof, then you would want to wash it whenever it is dirty. and whenever you wash i would want to protect it. (this is my opinion).

in reply to you second post, use a "big blue" type towel and it will be dry in 10 minutes, after you wash it.

Maybe I did a wrong process. First, I sprayed all over the top, then I used a applicator pad wiping back and forth until the white foam disappeared. That took real long.

See the first post

Spray an applicator pad with 303 until wet, don't spray it directly on the top. Use the 303 soaked applicator pad on the top. The white streaks/bubbles don't matter. Let it sit for 10 minutes. Wipe it with a MF towel lightly. No need to dry it.
