Cleaning the chamois
I couldn't find any good information on cleaning my chamois searching through the site, although I may have missed something. So, avoiding the seemingly endless religious debate of "what you use to dry your car," how do those of you with chamois's clean them?
I'm under the impression just sticking them in the washing machine with my microfiber & other towels is about the worst thing I can do. Can I just use plain hand / body soap? How can I make sure I get all the little particles out to avoid scratching (as much as possible)? I want to make sure I'm not going to re-scratch my whole damn car a week after polishing it, like I have on so many other occasions.
Any info would be great!

i hand wash it with a very small amount of either auto shampoo or the stuff that i use to wash the honda car cover with (i can never remember what its called, but i know you have to buy it from a web reseller- mark s2k knows the stuff... maybe someone else has a memory today!). i rinse it out after each car washing, and wash it about once a year or so.
i have never sratched a car with a chamois- imo, to do that you would either have to drop it on the ground or do a pretty lousy job of washing the car...
