I got the Vinylex quick-wipes with the intent of keeping them in my car to wipe up nasty spills... So I didn't have much control over how much goes on. I still find with some experimentation that the stuff is very shiny and very greasy -- maybe the quick wipe stuff is different from the stuff in the bottles?

Upon further inspection, it looks like the armorall wipes were just too strong a cleaner and the dots were caused because the dash material was getting dried out! So I took some 303 protectant (which I actually bought for my top) and wiped on, wiped off. PERFECT! 303 rules! The dash is clean, protected, not shiny or greasy, and looks brand new.

Thanks.

Interesting.. I've never tried the Vinylex quick wipes, but with the regular bottled version it's very easy to get either a nice matte finish, or a shiny greasy one. 303 is an excellent product as well
