Default The Dashboard Sponge- WORKS GREAT!!!

My girlfriend's parents gave me this dashboard sponge (a rubber type compound) as a stocking stuffer this year. Now I am a fan of the dull finish on my dash and my leather seats and applying anything will slightly increase the luster. This sponge will take off virtually all the dirt and grime in a single pass, then you can wash it out after a few uses when it gets dirty and use again later. It even worked to get all the dust off my guage cluster and the center console. I mean its no substitute for a complete detail, but a nice quick and easy way to keep it looking pretty good in between.

Anyone else try this, no clue where they got it, but I will find out, just a nifty little toy you should get...

it prob has some type of product in it... if so, make sure it is a product that you would want on your car. and the same product prob should not be used on leather and vinyl.
or maybe its just a soft dry sponge??
brand?
product number?

I've got one, too. Not sure about the brand or product number as I threw the packaging away long ago. I think it cost me like $3 though...

It doesn't feel greasy or anything like that. It is just a dry, rubbery sponge, so I don't think it has any product in it. It does work well, though.

I picked mine up here in Calgary, Alberta at a store called "Linens and Things" Basically a home store that sells, well, Linens and things Was a spontaneous purchase at the till, and cost me appx $6 CAD. Works fairly well, and as mentioned above, has no chemicals in the sponge, hence does not leave the much disliked lustre.
