Default Detailing.......

Ok im new to this forum and i dont own an S2k although i do love the car. I actually own a 94 supra TT and i needed a few pointers on washing black cars.. i can never get it completely dry and i can never get the windows spotless. also what should i use on the moldings by the windows?? im clueless. ive tried armoral but that doesnt work very well the only thing im really god at is my rims and tires and for those i use the eagle one wet tire spray it seems to work very well .. anywya sorry it interven with my supra BS but i figured you guys would know since there is an entire forum about it.....

Well, firstly do NOT wash in the sun!!! After you dry it, just go over the windows again with a clean towel. I open the doors, hood, and trunk and wipe all the water out of there too. Then I jerk the car in reverse/forward a few times to shake out the water, and dry any water that falls out.

Now you might have to try different chamois to find the one that works for you the best. I like water sprite, my wife likes the absorber. They both do a good job IMO.

Moldings by the window? Wash it normally when you do the car, then I'd use a damp cloth if that doesn't take off all the dirt. I don't use any type of protectant on the molding/rubber on the car. For me, it's just too messy.

Oh yeah, once you've washed the car, quickly apply Zaino!!!
