Does Clay bar remove Zaino?
I found some rough areas in my paint due to the car being at the body shop
and I decided to clay those areas. My question is do I have to re-zaino those areas, Z-1, Z2, etc.? Or did the clay bar just remove the contaminants?
Thanks in advance.

Well you should wash it with dawn first and then claybar. You also want to use a mixture of water and dawn as a lubricant for the claybar. So after all that, you prob won't have much Zaino left. It's always a good idea to put a coat or two of Zaino after claybar.
the rough areas are outside the areas you had work done on?
it overspray etc?
clay will pick them off, but it will also reduce the zaino on the car. an exact answer is impossible, due to variables like pressure applied, amount of zaino etc . .
its just a good idea to do a re-coating after claying . .and yes, you can just re-load those areas you clayed ..

dawn DOES NOT remove zaino.... the only thing that does remove Z is rubbing alcohol.. (well time too)
as Homer said, clay will remove some Z but not all the z...
Dawn will remove carnuba based waxes (that's why you start the z process with Dawn) but it will note remove polymer sealants..
