Default Quick Zaino Z1 Question

Ok...it's been a few months since I started the Zaino system on my car. I was thinking it was about time to reapply the Z-1 Polish LOK along with a few coats of Z2. Anyway, since this will be applying Z1 for the second time, is there any difference in body prep?
Do I need to remove the older Z1/Z2 coats?
Do I need to bring out the Dawn again?
Just curious....thanks for any information.

Nope, just wash your car as you normally do and apply Z1 followed by Z2/Z5. You never have to use Dawn again.

Cheetah,
The minimum you need to do is wash with Z-7, then apply Z-1 followed by Z-2/5. Other options to consider: Z-18 Clay Bar and ZFX. Clay Bar will get the surface absolutely clean and remove only a small amount of the Zaino you previously applied. I've seen it do amazing things to improve the appearance of a car. ZFX will allow you to apply up to 3 coats/day, makes the application a 1 step deal, yields higher gloss and even more durability.

Call me if I can assist you in any way.

Thanks guys
The clay bar is a big consideration after doing an inspection today. I 'clayed it before doing the initial Zaino treatment in December, but it has enough tar specs that it's time to break it out again.
One last question....does the dealer usually do a good job at repairing paint chips or should I consider someone else or doing it myself? (Had a stone skip off the hood about five days after driving it off the lot)

Cheetah,
I would recommend Certified Auto Appearance Restoration Specialists (CAARS). Owner's name is Todd Fickett, and can be reached at 704.301.3919

I tried to buy Z-1 today and Zaino Bros. talked me out of it and said that ZFX was the new improved Z-1, and unlike Z-1 is added to the Z-2 before application rather than two individual applications, FWIW.
