I got a question about zaino product.
Do i really need the clay bar and the Z2? I have recieve my order and i ordered Z1,Z5,Z6,Z7 and i didnt think that the clay bar and z2 was necessary.
More i read threads that talk about zaino product, more remorse i have on not take these two item.
Thanks for the help.

My opinion, surface prep is as important as the products you use. Dawn first, then clay bar, then wash with Zaino and do the Z1 followed by either Z2 or Z5
I use both Z2 and Z5, but I do know several folks that only use Z5 with very good results.
If you are in a hurry, I have not tried it myself, but I have heard good results from Mothers brand clay. And it is available, at least in the US, at Pep Boys.
Have fun and take your time.

Clay bar isn't necessarily needed depending on the condition of your paint surface. If it's not completely smooth, you might want to clay first.
Z2 you can live without for now. Great thing is that you can decide to buy it any time. It will work on top of Z5 with no problem. Z5 is very shiny. Z2 is just more so.

Clay bar almost always makes a difference. If you are looking for the optimum result, I would suggest taking the time to clay the car.
Clay is more than an issue of a slick surface...it is an issue of getting the surface absolutely clean before applying a product. I've seen garage queens that the owner thought was in great condition whose appearance was substantially improved by using clay as a preparation step.
While the surface of your car may feel smooth to the touch, you can get a better idea of its condition by wrapping cellophane around your fingers and very lightly moving it across the surface. You will probably be surprised at how rough it feels.

It's THAT good and I highly recommend clay barring the car before putting the first coat of Z5 or Z2 on! You can always come back later with the clay bar, but why not do it now? It makes a HUGE difference.
