Unhappy Fade on visors

I have a slight sun fade on my visors and have no idea what would be safe to use on them to restore the look... any suggestions?

i would do what i did...
cover them with leather!!
got mine from ricks-
i think that this is them:

its been so long since i have seen them now that i forgot what material they are!! are they vinyl or are they that cloth like stuff?

i think that they are a rough vinyl... which you have to be careful with. a damp rag is the first step- wipe them down well. then i would try a small amount of vinylex on a rag and rub a small area to see how it does. if it works, then go for the rest of it and post back here-

hmm- thought they were a rough vinyl-
303 would be another choice. they make a cleaner that would work on either vinyl or leather. process would be the same as indicated above.

just noticed from ricks site that he describes the visors as vinyl...

<<"Many S2000 owners despise the poor quality of the vinyl sun visors, and especially detest the appearance of the airbag warning stickers on both sides of the visors. Until now, the only solution was to cover the stickers with another sticker, or remove them altogether. But even without the stickers, owners were stuck with the cheap vinyl visors.">>

One side is vinyl and the other side is felt. I'm assuming he's saying the felt side is the one that is faded since this is the side that gets the most sun exposure.

Personally, I'm not sure it's something that can be fixed except maybe by replacing the fabric, re-dying it, or covering it up. IMO covering it up with those Rick's covers might be the best way to do it.
