2 to spread 6 for use.

And bumblebee, it's a well known fact that dishwashing soap rids wax and strips a cars surface bare. It doesnt harm a finish, but its obviously not recommended for a car with a well kept finish.

dawn washes are just popular because zaino put it in their instructions once upon a time. if we're talking about an extremely neglected vehicle a dawn wash might suffice. on the other hand, stripping wax, removing contaminants, can easily be achieved with a good clay and polish. not to mention dawn can be extremely harmful to the plastics, trim, etc. on the car.
