Default Getting egg off your car

Last night me and a few other friends went bowling, at about 11:30pm we decited to leave. When we got to my car I noticed it had been egged. Not just 2 or 3 egg's but around 2 dozen. I took a short stroll around the parking lot to see if anyone else's car recived the same beating as mine, but mine was the sol car the was egged. As it was a usual Colorado night the eggs had frozen onto my car. it took about 15min to clear a space from my windsheild as to where I could drive.

What has this done to my paint and clear coat? I am waiting until it warms up a little more to go finish fully washing my car. Is there any special wax I should pick up to use on my car?

Thanks in advance just goes to show how thoughtless people really are..

first, get the car clean as quickly as possible-
after cleaning you will be able to see if there is any damage.
you might need a vinegar bath to get it all clean-

and once clean if it does not look perfect, a good polishing should restore the finish- but let us know how it looks after the cleaning.

again, dont wait to clean it!

I washed it yesterday, took me about 3 hours to get it all clean. on my hood theres 2 spots where the eggs hit and it chiped the paint into an egg like shape, also did this on the spoiler and right above my Si badge. I'm going to wax it today and see if it will get out the smudge marks left behind from when I tried to wash my car.

yeah, vinegar cleans the best; make sure to try this on the smudge before waxing...in my previous expericence, cleaners wax could not get some smudge out, but vinegar did...

i wouldnt wax it until you get the marks out...

if they really are chips, you will need some paint repair-
if just crater looking spots ,try the vinegar idea on them first and let us know how it goes.
