Arrow great.......

after detailing my interior today, i decide to polish my exaust tips
i used turtle brand polish compund and mothers chrome polish

after doing my tips, i discovered how hard it is to get the inner part of the muffler, so i decide to take my tips off to theroughly shine them

problem 1, i had to figure the size of the bolt.
afterwards i try and attempt to loosen this bolt
discovered it doesnt move and is becoming stripped fast

next genious move was to use pliers
further enhanced the stripping

final genious move was the handy vice grip plier
did the trick to unloosen the "weld" of tar and rust so mischieviously and tactically "grown" on this bolt

i untighten further and it came off soo quick, the strength i used shot my hand (holding vice grips) into my face
next problem, hurt head
and newly added problem of a bolt top with no thread bottom
SOAFB!!!!!!!!!
long story short, i gotta drill the bolt out, and tap a new one in

before i re-create this hostorical event on the other tip, any suggestions on how to avoid getting hit in the face, stripping a bolt, breaking the bolt from the threads and finally polishing the rest of my .......................... tip?

Ordered them from the local Honda dealership here in Stratham, NH...

Not sure exactly what size they are, but the Honda part # is 95701-0601408
