I want to say hand compound and polishing will be a full days work but it definitely can be done. I did it when I first got my S and on a lot of other vehicles. I recently bought a DA attachment for my cordless drill and honestly didn't like the outcome. I don't think it was designed for a cordless to tell you the truth but it's great for using an AIO with their waxing pad. If I didn't live in an apartment, I would own a actual corded DA.

Though he has not replied to his own post, he is only looking to touch-up a few blemishes. No doubt, you will be dead before your perfect your entire car by hand.

I always get scratches under the door handles on customers cars. I use M105 or Meguiar's compound with a waffle weave foam pad which gets them out easily. Any surface I can do with my buffer does not get hand compounded or polished.
