Default HD cleanse

I see that the English detail guy, that uses the 152457545$$ zymol wax uses zymol hd cleanse after all polishing is done and before the wax goes on. What kind of product is this. Is it a final polish? I currently use poorboys professional polish, and was wondering if HD cleanse was worth picking up.

have never used it, but it is a "paint cleaner"- it also contains oils.

paint cleaners are like swirl removers, but are usually not used the same. swirl removers, as polishes, are worked until they dust. paint cleaners often are rubbed in, but not as much work. depends on the brand-

You got it spot on. HD-Cleanse is a paint cleaner. You basically rub it on, let it sit for 20 secs or so, and then wipe it off. It smells like cocoa and you may want to eat it, but I don't advise it. Also, if you let it dry too long it is a SERIOUS bear to buff off.

It does leave the paint nice and smooth and will clean off oxidation. Generally speaking I like HD Cleanse, but I don't love it. I do find it increases the slickness of a wax job, but it can be tough to use and is quite expensive.

I don't think you really need it TBH. Pro Polish is a similar product.
