Default headlight film

Does our headlights have protected film on them? My headlight have some peer off on the edge. How do I take care of them?

pics....but like groundzero said, its probably aftermarket. If you can grab ahold of the film and peel it, its aftermarket. if it just looks like its peeling its probably being oxidized and turning yellow.

It is not aftermarket film. I bought the car new and never put anything on. The film is like a coating, I try to take a pics when I get home.

If it's turning yellow/oxidizing, try Plast-x from Meguiars. Also, 210 or Plexus would work as well (local boating store might sell the last 2 mentioned)
