Default Help!!! What brands do you use?

Hey, I have been looking at your cars, and have noticed that they are REALLY clean... Wanabe, very nice... I was mainly wondering what brand of wash, wax, spray detailer, or clay bar you use. Not to sound like I know nothing about cars, but I saw Black Magic was used in 2f2f, and was wondering the quality of that... Any help is appreciated...

thx gt3master-
i use numerous diff brands of products- am always testing something for someone it seems...
lots of products that i like- zymol bathe is nice as a shampoo, as is just about any with good sheeting action.
to me clay is clay... no preference here. i have several and cant really tell the diff.
spray detailers- the one that i have been given most often (and tend to use) is griot's, but also use others (including zaino).
wax is easy- again i have way too many: but i do have a clear preference (in this order):
1. zaino
2. finish first
and i like to use a carnuba (p21s) over the synthetics.
have not used black magic, so cant comment on that one (but prob will get some in the mail now!!)
polishes is where you will find the most choices- and here it depends on what you are trying to do to the car... the most widely used polish, i think, is the swirl remover- again i have several, but prefer 3m for dark cars.
good luck!

If you're picky and don't want swirl marks in your finish. The most important thing to remember is never use cotton anything on the painted surfaces of your car.

Here's what I'm using at this time:

Turtle Wax Wooltex Wash Mitt
Turtle Wax chamois (soon too be replaced by 24x24 Microfiber towels)

One more thing... If I purchase zaino from the website, do you recommend going with the show kit, or just buying the polish?

Go with the show kit - that should be everything you need to get going....

Remember Dawn first, Clay, Zaino Car Wash, Zaino Polish (Z5/Z2), then Zaino Gloss Spray
